Into the Woods: FAWW Gallery at Sea Ranch 🌲🏡
This summer, FAWW Gallery took a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the landscape at Sea Ranch, California — a place where architecture meets nature in quiet harmony. Nestled between coastal pines and redwoods, our cabin shoot became an intimate showcase of the work we’ve carried with us across the West Coast.
Our journey began in the forest, where a towering grove of redwoods framed a striking narrative piece — a surreal cityscape bursting with characters and symbolism. Holding the print between the trees, the forest suddenly felt like a stage, amplifying the eerie urban dreamworld crafted by the artist.
Inside the cabin, the mood shifted. Against warm cedar walls and Bauhaus-inspired textiles, bold abstraction and optical illusions took center stage.
• A powerful blue and white form, clean and sculptural, hovered like a monument of rhythm and balance — proof that sometimes simplicity hits the loudest.
• Nearby, a hypnotic print from Dunja Jankovic’s archive shimmered in warm daylight — her signature gradient waves rippling with movement and depth. Available only during our time at the San Francisco Art Book Fair, this piece reminds us how past works can feel just as vital when reintroduced in new contexts.
Each of these prints has lived many lives — from European studios to gallery walls in London, and now, cradled between redwoods or lounging in a Californian cabin. Through this journey, FAWW Gallery continues to champion collectible, limited-edition print works by visionary graphic artists, bridging worlds and aesthetics from Soho to the Sonoma coast.
Whether you’re following us from London or just discovering us stateside — thank you. We’re honored to be here.
