Artist Bio

Dunja Janković is a Croatian-born, Barcelona-based interdisciplinary artist whose practice bridges abstract comics, experimental printmaking, drawing, and visual narrative. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb before completing her MFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York, where her graphic vocabulary began to evolve into the abstract language she is known for today.

Her work is defined by complex patterning, subtle disruptions, and a refined use of analogue techniques that explore perception and the instability of images. Over the past two decades she has exhibited internationally, founded her own screen-print studio, and created the experimental arts platform ŠKVER!, transforming industrial spaces into collaborative cultural environments. Her work is held in private collections across Europe, the United States, and Asia.
